Knowledge and energy modelling tools:
We believe that the best outcomes are achieved from a thorough and real-life understanding of how energy is consumed and how power systems perform. With the benefit of decades of experience, we have developed proven analysis tools to model real-to-life performance data and quantify the outcomes of applying alternative hardware configurations.
Meaningful and reliable data modelling can be created to form a basis for decisions on how energy systems can be improved and performance optimised for efficiency, environmental credentials and cost reduction.
We continue to invest considerable resources to properly understand the performance of every element of our energy systems on an end-to-end basis. From this, the architecture of our solutions is defined on the basis of true understanding rather than guesswork.
The outcome of this is a solution that is perfectly tuned to the application. We make provision for customised adjustment so that our standardised product can be adapted for optimum performance in every individual project.
Developing the next generation of BESS
The data and knowledge base described above is the inspiration behind development of next generation flexible BESS systems. Our products are targeted at off-grid power systems for construction, events and similar applications as well as for use in grid interactive applications for energy exchange, network reinforcement, solar PV self consumption and a host of other capabilities.
In more specific terms, we are actively developing products that meet the needs of the construction and events sectors. We have a specific focus on projects that have particular energy needs (such as cranes and hoists) and where there are substantial benefits and efficiency improvements to be realised.
Alongside that, our development road map includes solutions for behind the meter, grid-interactive products with multi-functional capabilities that include energy exchange, reinforcement, self consumption of renewables and islanding. Commercial and industrial buildings and public facilities, EV charging infrastructure, transport; in fact, pretty much any type of facility that has challenges around capacity, availability or reliability of power are potential applications where our products and expertise can help.
